Northern Essex Elder Transport is a volunteer transportation program serving independent elders 60 years or older in 14 communities, including Haverhill, in the Merrimack Valley. Rides are arranged through the local Councils on Aging. Volunteer drivers provide door-to-door transportation to local and out of town medical appointments when no other means are available.

Transportation is one of the most difficult issues for many elders who are trying to live at home independently. N.E.E.T. is a vital link for older adults ensuring they have access to needed services and opportunities.

If you live in Haverhill and have a car, NEET wants you! Please contact NEETdriverinfo@gmail.com or Drive4NEET@verizon.net to help out.
